Dear CHOA Members,
We are seeking individuals who are interested in serving in board positions, such as secretary, treasurer, or communications chair. Board terms begin in May and last three years. This year, as in most, three members will be retiring from the board, as members are limited to serving two terms.
The board meets between seven and twelve times annually, with each meeting lasting about two hours. The work between meetings varies, but most members typically spend only a small number of hours each week on board-related tasks.
Serving on the board is a great opportunity to contribute your expertise and experience to help maintain and enhance the CHOA community we all value. It’s also a wonderful way to meet other members and enjoy their company.
If you’re not ready to serve on the board, we encourage you to consider volunteering for one of our committees:
- Social/Welcome/Pool & Rec Hall
- Safety
- Architecture
- Landscaping
- Finance
- Insurance
If you are interested or have any questions about board or committee positions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me or any board member. We’d be happy to provide more details.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our community!
