We have noticed some areas of crane fly in the lawns marked by green on the map below. They will be treated this weekend and it is suggested you keep your animals off the lawns in these areas this weekend.

Between May and July 2018, each household is being given a red booklet titled “Charbonneau Country Club Emergency Preparedness Plan,” in which you will find information about readiness planning for your own home. Sprinklers will be turned on this weekend
Please note that we will be running the sprinklers on Saturday night (May 12th) and Monday (May 14th) at 50% because of the hot weather which is forecast. This isn’t the start of full-time watering. That won’t start till the pumps go in the river probably late May or early June.
Per the Golf Course- ” We usually wait until were comfortable that the river levels won’t rise. We think we can have the river pump operational within the next 1 – 2 weeks. In the meantime, water as needed to maintain what you have, but encourage your landscapers to be judicious, I don’t think anything in the 10-day forecast will necessitate mid-summer type irrigation.
We’ll let you know when we have the pump in the river, we’re currently working through a couple logistical issues, but should have those resolved shortly”.

Be Aware and Be Safe
Please note that a Coyote was spotted April 24th on the Golf cart path next to Red 6 coming from the direction of F&G pool. A Coyote was found dead later that day on the road to Langdon Farms but we are not sure this was the same animal. Please be careful with your pets.
In addition a resident of Charbonneau Village woke to find someone shinning a light into her bedroom window. If you experience suspicious activity please respond as follows:
-
If you feel in danger call 911
- If you see something that does not seem “right” but you don’t feel in danger: between the hours of 8:00 pm and 3:00 am call First Response 503-207-5300.
c. During the day 7:00 am to 8:00 pm call Steve 503-312-0927 or 503-682-0234
